Brea Black
FOUNDER + CEO
Brea is the founder of Get Support Together, driven by lived experience navigating the complexities of mental health care as both an individual and a mother. After witnessing repeated gaps in access, coordination, and appropriate treatment options, she set out to build a more connected and transparent mental health ecosystem. Her work focuses on bridging systems, empowering families, and ensuring individuals can find support that truly meets them where they are. She utilizes over 30 years of professional experience in corporate and agency marketing, website design, database management, and event planning to enhance her contributions to the organization.

Stephen F. Black, Jr.
Stephen brings almost 30 years of experience as an orthopedic physical therapist, where he consistently encounters and manages the deep connection between physical injury and mental health. Through his work, he has supported patients navigating trauma, chronic pain, and life-altering conditions, often identifying unmet mental health needs along the way. His perspective helps bridge the gap between the physical and emotional well-being that can interfere with the healing process. In addition, Stephen's prior work experience brings a unique perspective in developing strategic positioning.

Jeremy Brown
Jeremy Brown is a seasoned operations leader and a member of the Los Angeles Mayor’s Crisis Response Team with a career built on frontline crisis response. His background includes serving as a Training Sergeant with the Collin County Sheriff’s Office, as well as a long-term leader in North Dallas emergency fire services, and a Regional Director for the Texas CIT Association. He leverages this experience to provide on-scene crisis intervention and lead training initiatives for mental health and community safety.

Rabecca Cross
NONPROFIT LAWYER
Rabecca Cross has +20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector as an attorney and business leader. She currently serves as in house counsel of a nonprofit that provides healthcare services and distributes grants and scholarships to promote health equity. Rabecca has lived experience of the impacts of trauma on mental health as a foster/adoptive parent, and has volunteered and worked with nonprofits that serve members of the foster care community and the greater Central Texas philanthropic community.

Steve Gray
Steve Gray brings deep expertise in software/systems development, platform strategy, and global leadership helping translate the vision of Get Support Together into a functional, scalable solution. He is passionate about leveraging technology to help people find the information or resources that they need in their daily lives. Drawing on experiences both as an entrepreneur and as an engineering and IT executive, Steve ensures we are able to connect people to resources today and tomorrow.

Debra Jackson
OWNER, AXIS OF MENTAL HEALTH CARE
Debra is a Licensed Mental Health Professional and business owner committed to addressing injustices experienced by disabled and marginalized communities. Her career focuses on reducing mental health disparities, strengthening public understanding of mental health and health insurance systems, and advancing state‑level collaborations that expand equitable access to care. Across roles in service delivery, organizational leadership, advocacy, and systems improvement, she remains dedicated to ensuring that all individuals can obtain the mental health support they deserve.

Jennifer Markewych
PRESIDENT, THE DESIDERATA COMPANY + STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
Jen brings nearly thirty years of experience in uniformed services to her work in crisis response and academia. She began her career as a firefighter/paramedic in the Chicagoland area, where she also served as the training officer for a regional crisis response team providing peer support to first responders. Now based in Los Angeles, she continues this commitment to service as a member of the Mayor’s Crisis Response Team. As the founder of The Desiderata Company, Jen provides expert coaching, consulting, and crisis response training, grounded in the belief that philosophy is a fundamental component of effective emergency management. An internationally recognized speaker on the intersection of ethics and crisis, Jen also serves on the philosophy faculty at California State University, Los Angeles, and Mount Saint Mary’s University.

Marlene Romanowski
EXECUTIVE BUSINESS STRATEGIST
Marlene brings more than 25 years of experience helping organizations transform data, customer insights, and emerging technologies into measurable business growth. Throughout her career with USAA, Dell, and now through her work with Ready To Go Results, she has led initiatives spanning customer experience, analytics, digital marketing, data governance, and business strategy. Marlene is passionate about helping organizations simplify complex technology and turn it into practical solutions that improve marketing, strengthen customer relationships, and increase operational efficiency. Guided by the values of trust, integrity, empowerment, and simplicity, she helps business leaders confidently navigate change while delivering meaningful, measurable results. From a personal perspective, she has navigated the complexity of the mental health care system in caring for family members.

Hailey Weisman
EQUINE VETERINARY TECHNICIAN + LIVED EXPERIENCE ADVOCATE
Hailey Weisman’s experience was foundational in shaping the early vision of Get Support Together. What was initially perceived as mental health distress in her youth was later understood to be symptoms of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), highlighting critical gaps in diagnosis and understanding. Today, she is thriving as an equine breeder and veterinary technician, bringing a unique perspective on the intersection of physical and mental health.
